...was born in Prague. Trained as a media designer, she works as a photographer as well as in TV and movie production.
From April 2005 she travelled Afghanistan, where she worked in Kabul, among other tasks, as an instructor for ENG (Electronic News Gathering) for the local radio station VOAW (Voice of Afghan Woman).
After that she trained, on contract from Deutsche Welle, technicians and journalists for the state television RTA (Radio Television Afghanistan).
By the end of 2006, her first photo exhibition "Light and Shade - contrasts at the Hindukush" took place in Freising near Munich.
From December 2006 she was working once again in Afghanistan, this time as a FMTL (Forward Media Team Leader) and photo journalist for NATOs International Security Assistance Forces (ISAF).
Having returned to Germany, she now presents her experiences in Afghanistan and other conflict areas to a wider public in exhibitions, publications and lectures while pursuing her studies of political sciences and working as a lecturer. |
