The exhibition, comissioned as part of a security-political meeting, by the Medical Command II of the German Bundeswehr, was a resounding success and will continue until August 27th, the "Traditional Night", celebrated by the Town of Diez and the Garrison of the Castle. There were some very positive reactions from the press (german language versions can be found HERE, and HERE) and I survived my first official speech before such a large audience slightly stirred, but not shaken!
UPDATE:
The Oranienstein Exhibition ended together with the Traditional Night, in a beautiful Serenade of the 300th Military Music Corps of the German Bundeswehr, a stunning display of fireworks and a great party.
Obviously the fireworks and the big band weren´t meant (solely) for me, I appreciated it anyway :o)
I also had the priviledge, to introduce a lot of people to my work and managed even to sell some of my books. One happy customer can be seen here:
(For foreign readers: This is former German Minister of Defense, Franz-Josef Jung)
