Civilian Medical Aid in Afghanistan

How to get closer to the hearts of the people

In Afghanistans north, the Balkh and Samangan provinces to be exact, February 2007 saw Med CAPs (Medical Civilian Aid Program) being conducted. The villagers were treated for free by doctors and paramedics of the ANA (Afghan National Army), assisted by ISAF (International Security Assistance Forces). Besides the medical treatment, clothing, shoes and other supplies donated by people from Europe, were distributed as well.
