Media @work

As a trained audiovisual producer and photojournalist, between 2005 and 2013, I travelled to many (post-)war and conflict areas, such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt or South Sudan, to try to help with what I was best at up to that point: telling stories with images (and audio 🎀!).

By passing on my media expertise, I tried to contribute a few steps towards democracy by strengthening free press and media in these countries.

Despite all the adversities in these regions, I met countless amazing people 🀩.

Note: It ´s always up to you how you treat people - the feedback turns out accordingly.

Here I have collected some impressions of my work in
media training (on behalf of Deutsche Welle Academy), photo documentaries and exhibitions.

Enjoy!
